Hakkında
The Luxembourg Gardens was created in 1612 by Queen Marie de Médicis, King Henri IV's wife, as part of her new Palace. When King Henri IV died, she decided to leave the boring Louvre Palace for a better place in the countryside. She ordered the construction of the Luxembourg Palace, a magnificent château surrounded by beautiful gardens. Today the Luxembourg Palace and gardens belong to the French Senate. The Senate uses the Palace for its important meetings and assemblies, and usually, it is closed to the public. The gardens, instead, are open to the public, and you can enjoy them every day for free. You will learn a little more about Queen Marie and her Luxembourg Gardens, which are full of hidden, sometimes unexpected treasures. This Treasure Hunt is a race against the clock: you must complete it in less than 90 min! A combination of 20 riddles and challenges, all located inside the park, will lead you to Queen Marie's most precious treasure, Treasure. During the hunt, you will score points, and some of the treasures come with a bonus question to get some extra points. You will have access to the Queen's final treasure only if you finish the hunt in time and you score a minimum of 250 points. Are you ready for the challenge?
